Mathematical aspects:
The objective of this topic is to observe and analyze the different shapes of the
inartificial environment and to draw and allocate areas. The children are to more consciously
perceive some basic geometrical shapes of the inartificial world around them and to colloquially
describe them. They are to become more attentive towards the richness of shapes that surrounds
them. Areas and items are to be allocated to one another and are to be recognized. In the first
grade, children learn playfully „what the mirror can do", whereas in the second grade the
axis of reflection is being used consciously.
