Mathematical aspects:
The children are introduced to the numerical series up to 5, to 20 and to 100, based on their
previous understanding thereof. They learn to find their way around these numerical series, i.e.
they can name, read, depict, write and divide numbers, they can count forward and backward and
manage to skip-count. They can name neighboring numbers and estimate, count and group quantities.
Thereby, the «power of 5» is used as an important orientation guide. Several types of
notation are used; some of them also have a musical relevance.
